  陈加七 课题:Unit 8 Seasons and Clothes 1 话题:Weather 2 词汇:1)话题课标词汇:dry, blow, lose, leaf, drop.

  2)其它课标词汇:reach, sudden, describe.

  3)课标扩展词汇:desert, gray, unpredictable. 3 句型:

  Temperatures can reach the 40s.

  Temperatures can get into the 20s.

  There is a sudden drop in temperature and it gets cooler.

  The trees lose their leaves.

  The days are gray and it is often windy.

 教学目标:

 1 知识与技能目标:

  1)学生通过回答问题,对比,填表格,复述等方式获取课文的主要信息,并通过所获取的信息总结归纳出墨尔本四季天气的情况。

  2)学生通过阅读题目,训练学生预测文章内容的能力。

  3)学生通过观察图片理解生词,并通过阅读上下文,训练学生理解生词含义的能力。

  4)学生通过查找主题句,给学生渗透英语文章结构的意识。

  5)学生通过归纳表格中的信息,能够口头描述墨尔本和北京四季天气的异同情况。

 2 情感态度目标:

 学生通过了解墨尔本四季的天气,了解澳大利亚和国外的著名大学,使学生 树立远大理想,增强学生刻苦学习的意识。

 3 文化意识目标:

  学生通过了解墨尔本四季的天气和对比墨尔本和北京四季天气的异同,了解南 北半球气候的差异,加深对英语国家的地理位置,气候特点的了解。

 教学重点:

  学生能够阅读文章获取信息,了解墨尔本四季天气的情况,总结对比墨尔本和 北京四季天气的异同。

 教学难点:

  初步训练学生能够通过阅读上下文,理解生词含义的能力。

 questions and showing the map.
